Why We Built This Site
Kansas gives the public access to many court and agency records through the Kansas Open Records Act, including K.S.A. 45-215 through 45-223, while keeping sealed, restricted, juvenile, expunged, and confidential information outside ordinary public access. The hard part is figuring out which office holds the file you want. The Clerk of the District Court handles Barton County District Court case files, probate matters, marriage-license filings, divorce decrees, and sheriff's and Highway Patrol traffic tickets. The County Clerk handles county administrative records and KORA routing. The Barton County Sheriff's Office handles jail, detention, law-enforcement report, and civil process records. We pull together the contact details, search portals, fee notes, and request steps for these offices into one place.

- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
